About the author
Hi! Thanks for reading my blog. For the sake of anonymity for both me and my employers, I will keep my name and workplace a secret.
I work as a server, and I love what I do. My bosses, costumers, co-workers etc etc may be another question, however…
Feel free to comment or e-mail me!

Was going to email, but can’t find your address on the site…
Wondering if you’d be interested in this:
I was thinking of doing a sort of “choose your ending” type entry…here’s the idea: On my blog and say 3 or 4 others, we post the same beginning scenario - a situation we have all faced. Then, we put a “choose your ending” link below that would list links to other blogs as well as to the ending on our own blogs. For example…
Yesterday a table came in and asked for all kinds of stuff not on the menu etc. etc.
What happened next? Well, choose your ending at…
link to your site
link to my site
link
etc.
What do you think?

Here are a couple scenario ideas - feel free to add, subtract, what have you:
1. The idiot hostess just triple sat me, even though other servers are yet to get another table. Guess that whole rotation system is too much for her grasp. The old couple I can’t get to leave is asking for more coffee. Now, the manager is pissed I’m not greeting my tables soon enough.
2. It’s supposed to be slow. It’s a Wednesday for Christ sake. No doubt that is why three servers felt it was ok to call out sick. So we are massively understaffed. Of course, this is the night we get slammed.

I love love LOVE your blog. It’s nice to know i’m not alone in the world of serving. I particularly loved the story of the ten top from hell. I wish my managers sided with us the way that yours did with you. I’ll keep reading…. def keep posting!

I found out about your Blog on Justopia’s Blog site and I must say I thoroughly enjoy your stories. I just finished reading it from start to your most recent post. I too work in the service industry, however I am on the other side of the fence, as a manager. I’ve been a bartender for over 20 years so I know whereof you speak about tipping. If you don’t mind, I am going to link you on my blog. =)
Cheers~

Why do you use the word costumer on your site? I’m assuming you mean consumer?
Other than that, I have truly enjoyed reading your insights - great site, keep up the wonderful writing
